EDI Material Release Scheduling with ACME
Automotive Cum Management with EDI (ACME)
The start point is the information from your EDI trading partners, usually via Telstra's "TradeLink" or PGM's "EDI Integrator". After getting the schedule from the mailbox, the processor verifies that the partners' cums match your own records.
Of course, there is provision for manual entry of schedules from non-EDI customers.
Kanbans and faxbans can be entered if desired.
A very comprehensive 'cum' facility is provided, maintaining separate despatch and production cums and catering for various types of adjustments together with 'combine' and 'roll-up' facilities. Some users find cums such a handy way to manage production they use it throughout their factory to good effect.
You get a bar chart for each customer showing the flow of parts to the customer with changes since the last schedule highlighted for action.
You can accept the schedule, or change it.
Then you can see how the current shop schedule covers the requirements, graphically.
You can see which customers are likely to have problems.
You can then 'drill down' to see how planned runs in the plant cover the requirements.
Reports include... despatch action report, coverage action report.
You can interface to your existing Accounting/Inventory/MRP/ERP system, and/or to the full power of Assured System's FLAIR shop floor scheduling software. More about Flair
